A Safe and Supportive Community

PSGW is committed to providing a working and learning environment free from discrimination, and prohibits harassment of all participants and staff, including sexual harassment.

Sexual harassment is defined as any unwelcome or unwanted sexual advance, request for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature from someone in the camp that creates discomfort and/or interferes with camp activities.

PSGW strives to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all who attend our camp and our other activities. We ask that all participants in PSGW activities be sensitive to any discomfort their behavior may be causing others. Harassment due to race, religion, gender identification, sexual orientation, national origin, political orientation, disability, age, military or veteran status will not be tolerated at any PSGW event.

Any participant or staff member who believes they are a victim of sexual harassment is asked please either report immediately to the person in charge of the event or tell someone you trust and ask them to relay the information to the coordinators of the event.

Alternately you are encouraged to speak to Addie Mathis or Patrice Haan, the PSGW Board members designated to receive any such complaints, or contact them via email at addieandpatrice@pugetsoundguitarworshop.org.

PSGW will not tolerate retaliation against any participant/staff person who complains of sexual harassment or who provides information in connection with any such complaint.

If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact Janet Peterson or Elian Carbone either at camp or at info@pugetsoundguitarworkshop.org, or PSGW Board Members, Addie Mathis or Patrice Haan, at  addieandpatrice@pugetsoundguitarworshop.org.
